Travellers are facing major disruption after Berlin Brandenburg Airport was forced to suspend all flight operations due to freezing rain and black ice. The airport halted take-offs and landings on Thursday at 6pm CET, citing unsafe runway conditions, and remains closed today as severe winter weather continues to affect northern Germany.
