A cordon was put in place on Old Lane in Chadderton after the incident. The victim was rushed to hospital from the scene following the knife attack, which included a machete. Clips posted on social media showed a large cordon in place after police raced to the scene on blue lights. The road was taped off by officers close to Union Street
