Platinum Love is amazing on me. I got all five of the colors that came out with the Magnetic Nude Collection which I simply adore. Of course, I am indeed a MAC girl and have been for 14 years now. Platinum Love is really bright but a gorgeous shimmery silver and looks amazing with silver dawn in crease and sketch in crease. I like Natural Flirt as a lid color or brow highlight. Amorous Alloy is beautiful with the Carnal Instinct lipstick with Get Rich Quick on top instead of hellbound. Silver Dawn is also beautiful as an allover eyecolor with black eyeliner upper and lower. Sweet Heat is nice as allover color as well. The most amazing thing about these shadows is all 5 colors can be worn together and still not be overbearing. Get them all and don't forget your 287 brush. Try Platinum Love with Pearl Cream Colour Base to Hold down the beautiful shimmer. Let your nude by magnetic and have fun. I do everytime I go in my makeup trunk and believe me its abundant.

After kicking myself for missing out on Sweet Heat the last time it was launched, I was super excited to get it this time around. It is almost exactly the same, when swatched on my hand, as the Superb MSF which kind of bummed me out- since I have that- but, SH wears so well on the eyes with Painterly underneath it that I think I am still going to keep it. I have other ED eyeshadows and the formulation is great, silky smooth, long wearing, metallic goodness- which can be bumped up a bit with a little spritz of Fix + on your brush. SH just gives my eyes a radiant kind of gleamy rose gold look that looks gorgeous for day or night depending on how I wear it- I like it with winged out black liner and loads of black mascara and highlighted skin. I really don't think you can go wrong with this color or formula:)

Until this iteration of Extra Dimension eye shadows was introduced, my favorite MAC eye shadow finish was Veluxe Pearl. I purchased an Extra Dimension eye shadow (Smokey Mauve) when they came out the first time and were much larger in size. When this revamped version came out and I saw them at the counter, I thought that they were all stunning and was instantly drawn to the one that turned out to be Smokey Mauve. This revamped version, however, is miles ahead of its first generation counterpart. The new ones are superior in pigmentation and formula. The new Smokey Mauve is much more beautiful than the first version and I regret that I have the original one now. If MAC only made their eye shadows in the new Extra Dimension formula and brought back the Matte2 shadows/formula, I'd be one happy customer!

I would recommend to anyone who likes a shimmer or a sheen in their eye shadow to give these a go (If there are any left). The texture, payoff and look is amazing. I have purchased 6 of the shadows (black, pink and the bronze and gold colours) and i have been wearing them nonstop since they arrived. A little bit of product goes along way and the golden colours really lift a slightly dulling complexion. I do believe these are worth the money but out of alot of the products that have been released over the last few years I really wish these were made part of the perminate collection along with more colours, (pinks greens and corals would be a lovely addition). If these are ever re-released I will be buying more, I really have loved these shadows. xxx

I love this formulation! You can get different effects with these when applied differently - dry, wet, lightly, etc. The two shades I managed to grab (before the REST of the colors I wanted sold out!) are perfection. Blue Orbit looks sublime on my pale skin (though a couple of my darker-complexioned friends felt that it didn't show up very well on them...). I'm going to buy another Warm Thunder - it works so well as a neutral on light, cool-toned skin. I don't want to run out of it! Anyway, I just love this formulation & wish it were permanent (or that all the colors could be restocked, at least once!).

Mac is crazy to get rid of these. I love the pro long wear shadows and pigments but these stand out from the rest. Mac should make these shadows permanent and add more colors. They have the best application and wear. I have oily eyelids and these do not crease and they are so pigmented. Usually I woul take along tome building the depth of color with the cromaline, pigments and the cromakake but the extra demension shawows have so much depth most of the time I use them alone. I love these Shadows!! Make them a keeper MAC!! I am a pro member and Ive tried many shadows on for size but MAC is the best.

So I always tend to look right past blue shadows for some reason..? Idk why. So I waited to go in the store to swatch them all. AND..I gotta say,This shade is definitely 1 of my faves from this collection!! It is the perfect shade of blue to add to any MAC shadows imo. I feel like it has that perfect metallic finish without being TOO much. And I'm usually more of a "matte shadow kind of girl" but this is just a perfect lid color and I think any skintone could rock this! (I'm usually an nc/nw20 when not tanning) Seriously will be wearing this alot this spring/summer! < 3 it!

I tried a number of high end single shadows this year, and I still came back to Satin Taupe as my number one favourite, and Sable a close second. These are perfect one-and-done shadows, a category that has become very popular in the past couple years. I still think these hold up next to much more expensive shadows in terms of shade, finish and wear time. This made me interested in getting more shades, and I'm sad to see a lot of previously popular shades are no longer available! I would love to see some brought back, even if for a limited run.

Everything in the Extra demention line is just amazing, one of the most unique product formulas on the market. I picked Smokey Mauve to review because even though I have quite a few of these, I have a special use for this shade. 1st off as eyeshadow these are just stunning, I wet my brush with fix + and pack the intensity directly to my lid and it's close to liquid looking metal. They don't crease or fade and when used wet I have no fallout. Smoky Mauve is so unique that I actually use it as a highlighter dry not wet and it is so exotic looking on my olive skin tone. I knocked off 1 star because for some reason they do dry up and crumble in the pan especially the blue toned shades___

This color makes my green eyes POP! It's smooth, silky, bold, blendable, non-creasing, lasts ALL DAY and has NO fallout! The new formula is a hit for me. I have completely tossed all other palettes and switched to this new formula. I love this shade because it's a great transition shade, is good for the office and great for date night. I couple this with painterly most days for work. Top swipe is with painterly and bottom is a single swipe with no primer.

I cannot truly express how much I love this eyeshadow. It does not matter if I wear it during the day in an office setting or go a little over-the-top for going out at night, or whether I happen to be dressed down or dressed up, people tell me how great my eyes look in this color. I can honestly say that I've had strangers come up and ask me what color/brand I'm wearing when I use this eyeshadow. That's a pretty great statement!

I got hold of the shade Dark Dare when I was in Milan and it's the perfect black to smudge a smokey eye look or even your black liner. I love how buttery smooth it is and it blends out so incredibly well. I've got the shade Carbon (which is black) too but I really like this one better! The only downside was when I tried to de-pot this into my palette it doesn't come with its own pan at the bottom so bits of it crumbled away.

This shadow is highly pigmented and has the perfect amount of glitter. The glitter is very muted, so this is even easy to wear to work depending on how you apply it. Applying it wet makes the glitter more prominent. Coupled with my favorite paint pot, this silky shadow lasts all day- even through my high intensity hikes! There was very little fallout and the shade blended really well. There was no creasing!

This is literally the perfect black. There's no fallout, it's smooth and silky to apply, its deep and bold, blendable, and did I mention NO FALLOUT?! It literally lasts all day- though my 9 hours at the office and even my evening intense hike. It's versatile! I use it for eyeliner all the time. Coupled with a paint pot, this stuff lasts all day and is non creasing. This new formula is where it's at!!!!

I adore this colour, the pigment is perfect. To go from a powder or creamy texture with some moisture added to your brush ups the game. Do not make this obsolete as no other brand can match. You can mix up with so many shades for a barely made up face to smoke and glistening going out partying look. MAC you never fail me with this ??

I literally wear this every single day. It's perfect for the office. I wear it with painterly underneath most days, but sometimes I'll use a more camel shade to darken it. It's smooth, silky, blendable, bold for its shade range and has no fallout. I love this new formula! It can easily look natural and lasts all day without creasing.

This is the most perfect smoky eye shadow! It's not too blue..not too purple.. and not too gray . It makes your eyes pop! I never write reviews but this is my favorite eye shadow ever .. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. Best of all, it still keeps its darker, intense color while staying super shimmery and metallic.

I love this one for the inner corner only. It pops my blue eyes and lasts all day. Blendable and perfectly textured. Smooth! Not crumbly. I am about finished with the one I bought in September 2019 and would normally switch it up to a new, light color for the inner corner, but no...I will stick with this great color!

Smoky Mauve is an incredible one and done shade put it all over the lid, bled out the edges and go. You can add a complimenting matte to the crease for a little more depth but the color can stand alone and is gorgeous. It makes for an easy, simple on the go look. I love it.

What a perfect shade this is. It is my eyebrow enhancer, eyeliner and smoker. The shade is perfect for my skin tone, brunette shaded hair and hazel eyes. Again I love the fact you can add a little spritz of moisture to give you a creamy application and look. 10/10 from me

I've so been wanting a matte white eyeshadow and I was finally able to get this one and it doesn't disappoint. It applies effortlessly, is definitely buildable and blends well with other colors. It doesn't even separate as some light colored matte eyeshadows can do.
