An Eye Popping Product
Reviewed on www.marksandspencer.com·Lancs Lass
I've bought this product numerous times in different shades. My favourite is 'Strawberry Fudge'. The pink shade is beautiful and with the darker shade applied to the outer corners of the eyes and swept in the eye socket, really makes my eyes pop. The texture of this product is so smooth to apply and it lasts all day. In previous duos, the applicator used to be a sponge applicator and a brush, although now it's just a double ended sponge applicator. Please can we revert back to the brush as I preferred to apply the darker shade with this. Also, previously I had this product in a shade that seems to have been discontinued - the two shades were a darkish brown and a flattering peachy orange shade - the name of this duo escapes me. I cannot fault this product and have used it for years and it's a product I will remain loyal to.

I have never used Clinique...
Reviewed on www.marksandspencer.com·Rubekah1980
I have never used Clinique eye shadow before and I needed some new shadow. Ordered online vs purchasing in store so I didn't get a chance to see the colours in person. I ordered strawberry fudge - I was worried the pink would be too pink for the lid, but the color is just gorgeous! I don't wear eye shadow every day (maybe 3-4 days a week) but I am very happy with this shadow. Even without a primer it has good staying power and I have had some sweaty mid-day workouts to really test it out. I don't like heavy eye shadow so I apply it light but it still looked beautiful and made my eyes pop. I will likely get another color too, they are just so cute, compact and beautiful.

Reviewed on www.ulta.com·Shay
This pair of neutral-yet anything but boring!-earth-toned eyeshadows makes for a decidedly dynamic duo! With just enough shimmer to add definition and allow the colors to really pop, the silky smooth and oh-so blendable ivory shade is a perfect base for any other eye products to follow—never chalky-looking or heavy as some lighter colors are prone to be—while the gorgeously-glam "like mink" selection is equally suitable for eyelids or as a contour to a deeper-toned lid choice. Whether applied subtly or boldly, these discretely-shimmered shadows add interest and light to the eye area in their always Clinique-style gentle, but durable, manner.

Reviewed on www.ulta.com·TrishaC
The pinky/gold shade in this duo is like no other. I have been searching for this shade for years. Everyone tries to do it, yet it's never exactly what i am looking for. Pat McGrath had a quad with a similar shade, but it is too dark of a pink for me. Her pink shades irritate my eyes, where the Clinique shadows don't. This isn't a high impact shimmer, but I don't care. I can wear it any time of the day and it's gorgeous.

This summer, a church friend had gifted me a Clinique bag. This Al About Shadow had Strawberry Fudge eyeshadow with smoldering plum powder blush in the same compact. Though It didn't come with the applicator, I assume the powder was underneath it. (See photos.) I loved the eyeshadow and the blush colors that blended well. Easy to apply as well.

I had a consultation with a Clinique adviser today and she matched me with the shades "Buttered Toast" as it went so well with my skin tone and outfit. The product glided on beautifully and with perfect ease, it was so light and soft on my eyes and the end result was truly magic!! I couldn't believe how amazing this looked.. it made my blue eyes 'pop' with colour. It can be used subtly during the day or heavier for a more sparkling evening look. This is a superb product and a real makeup treat.

Too handy not to have!

Really useful litte kit, great especially for when you are just starting to experiment with blending different colours or if you just want a great everyday go-to, definitely recommend Seashell Pink/Fawn Satin. Shame though as they used to come with an amazing little brush/sponge applicator but now seems that both ends are just sponges which is next to useless as it means that you can't apply it nearly as well, but not a problem if you have your own brushes at home.

Reviewed on www.ulta.com·Gloria
Clinique Strawberry Fudge Duo is my favorite eye shadow. I'm 65 years old and still have good skin and not many wrinkles. This duo I use the pink over the lid and under the brow, the brown I use in the crease and along the lash line to soften eye liner and flare it at the outer corners. It adds a little shimmer and depth without looking overly made up as I prefer a natural look. I've tried many other eye shadows but always come right back to this one.

I bought the "wave after wave" shades with the intense clove eyeliner. It's a beautiful green/silver shade, and somehow a good combination with hazel eyes. I find it very easy to apply and wearable, and not too pigmented or dramatic, just beautiful and discrete. Very easy to blend, and the right amount of shimmer. The package is much better than it used to be for clinique eye shadows, and it comes with a mirror, a brush and an eye shadow applicator. Fantastic.

I'm one of the people disappointed in the chubby stick replacement. On a whim, I decided to try the day into date shadow duo and it's a definite winner. I used primer, which I have to use under any shadow, including the beloved chubbies, and the shadows lasted all day and into the evening. So pretty and easy to put on with a brush. I hope Clinique doesn't discontinue these too, now that I've discovered I'm a powder shadow girl again.

With all the big palettes I have, I'm enjoying the simplicity of this product. I purchased Starlight/Starbright and it's perfect to wear for an understated, everyday look. It's 2 tones of taupe. I wore it to an important meeting and it gave me extra confidence, looking polished but not overly made up. It lasted all day too! I also have the Mink duo I received in a gift with purchase and it is also a high quality neutral.

Both colors are slightly shimmery. You can wear it for day or evening by reapplying the bronze color to make it darker. I have yellowish skin with green veins and it looks great with warm-colored blush and lipstick. (I also wore it with cool colors and applied a purple over the bronze on the outside corners and it looked great.) I tried it on in the store and this brown is not too light or dark--just perfect.

I receieved a free sample of the 'strawberry fudge' shade of this eyeshadow and it's absolutely fantastic. Usually with samples, I use them and never purchase the product again, but I will 100% be buying this eyeshadow - even on my student budget! The pink shade has hints of golden shimmers within it, which really brighten up my eyes, and the brown compliments this perfectly. A must buy!
