I have lighter medium skin...

I have lighter medium skin with neutral undertones. I like to wear a light smokey eye during the day and be able to darken it up or add some sparkle for going out at night. I also like to keep things simple. I have been searching for a simple eyeshadow palette that only has shades i will use to avoid a big clunky palette. I also hate wasting eyeshadow when im out of my go to colors in a palette, but there are still un-used pots of shadow left. When it comes to nudes and brown eyeshadow i find them either too gray/cool for my skintine or too warm/orange on me. Taupe Craze is exactly what i have been looking for! It goes on perfectly with my skintone and the second darkest shade gives my daytime smokey eye that perfect natural shadow look. It goes on about one shade darker than my skin tone which is exactly what i wanted. These colors don't pull too gray and also dont lean too warm. These shadows are very pigmented, went on creamy smooth and did not leave fallout under my eye. I am in love with this palette!

I used this palette for 10 years. I can't believe my eyes. This is the best neutral palette ever. I use the light as a base & then layer with the shimmer & darker brown. Then I go under my bottom lashes with the shimmery brown! They discontinued this for quite some time & I'm so happy they brought it back. I should have searched sooner. I posted my two pallets I still have from years ago lol. They've changed over the years. You can see which colors I use the most.\n\nLANCÔME please bring back PINK ZINC single eyeshadow. That shadow is still my absolute favorite. It's the most gorgeous shimmery shadow. I have hooded eyes so using light shimmery colors makes my eyes appear wider. I line my bottom waterline with white too.

Non-incentivized/ Bought with my own $ in shade 03 -Pulse. I have warm/light skin tone w/blue eyes and figured the orange could make nice contrast. \nThe middle triangle Taupey-rose ‘satin’ shade is best, a creamy powder texture. It has a bit of warmth in there that I didn’t expect. Great color payoff. Easily applied with just my finger, no brush needed! \nThe orange ‘soft matte’ shade was easily wearable. Not neon at all / Not super dense in pigmentation. \nThe shimmer shade on right side of palette made a good accent, also easy to apply with finger. \n\nThe dud of the 4 shades is the ‘hyper matte’ raisin color at top of the pan. I thought it would have strong color payoff. Nope. ( on my arm swatch it is the bottom shade) I applied close to close to lash line but it was hard to achieve any depth or intensity. I wet my brush, made it a bit better/darker but not great. \nI will prob return this one. I like the warm rose satin and orange shades but will never use enough to justify $80 cost.

This palette is the perfect combination of shades because brown/reds/shimmers go with anything and the combinations are endless. It is so easy to blend and create a look with this palette, even a beginner could do it. I also love the packaging and compactness of it because it fits in most of my purses. The includes brush is also a plus. I will say, be careful with what you throw it in your bag with, as the case does scratch quite easily.

Loving #2 Profusion! The shadows are best applied with the sponge applicator it comes with or your fingers. Love the pop of color with the neutrals for an avant garde look! Can do an eye look in 5-10mins with this quad!

Love it!! Super pigmented and blends like a dream. Reminds me of the mothership PMGL formulas. The silver in Profusion is GORGEOUS and really sparkles and shines. Pricey palette but so worth it

Taupe Craze is the perfect eyeshadow set for my eyes - I get so many compliments! While I primarily use 2-3 of the shadows, I get so many compliments, I will keep buying this palette. LOVE

It's a very beautiful pallet. It's slightly shimmery and looks expensive. Sometimes I feel it's a bit smoldering but I think I'm just getting used to using neutrals. Definitely worth it.

The eye shadows are pigmented and easy to blend. However I think it’s just too expensive for just 4 eyeshadow colors. The combo is interesting but the formula isn’t anything special. The packaging is nice but I just don’t think it’s worth paying for.

Beige Brule exceeded all expectations. Soft and buttery, the colors are unique and beautiful. Each can stand on its own or be blended in a variety of ways: Soft pale pink, a light lavender greige, glowing champagne rose, cool camel, and a rich earthy bark. All are matte, except for the rosy middle shade, and all are cool/cool-neutral, which makes me so happy. It's become extremely difficult over the last 10-15 years to find non-sparkly eyeshadow palettes, let alone cool-toned ones. I can wear these colors in any scenario, from a business meeting to a picnic in full sun. The pigmentation is subtle, so it may require an eye primer. I've used Lancome skincare and fragrance for decades, but I had no idea its cosmetics were so beautiful. Goodbye C brand, step aside for Lancome.

I'm hesitant to purchase eye shadow palettes because I always end up with one or two colors that I love and use up quickly, and one or two colors that are nearly unused by the time the ones I really like are empty. But THIS palette has beautiful colors that I love equally! Don't get me wrong—I DO wish the colors were available separately—hint hint, Lancôme! ;) Overall, this palette is very useful, with beautifully blendable shades.

I love Lancome's eye shadow!! Applying it is so easy & the results are flawless. Of all the wonderful features this eye shadow offers, how it stays on & lasts is by far it's optimal benefit. I have literally spent the day on the lake riding jet skiis, then worn out from the sun fallen asleep for the night & woken up with my eye shadow STILL looking flawless. No kidding! Absolutely the best!

I am highly allergic to a lot of eyeshadows and have not worn eyeshadow in a long time. I had someone recommend this eyeshadow. I CAN WEAR IT!!!! I am thrilled that I can actually wear eye shadow again. Most products have ingredients that i am allergic to - this one does not. I am so very excited! Thank you Lancome for having a product that I absolutely LOVE!!!

This product takes a minute to dry down, however it lasts all day once it is dry. I love this aspect of the product because it makes it very easy to blend and smudge out for a smoky effect that lasts all day. I also love the creaminess of the product. It is effortless, which is good for the skin on my eyelids. I would highly recommend this product.

It's true that Lancome products are a little on the pricey side. But the quality of their products is well worth it, especially for those of us who are a little older. \nThis pallet is perfect for older eyes because it doesn't settle in your wrinkles. It lasts all day and the colors are perfectly coordinated. It has become my favorite.

This is the second palette I have bought. I loved the first one so much I wanted to try other ones. I bought the fraischer rose first and fell in love with the colors and the coverage so I bought the taupe craze. Not so in love with the taupe craze and I am with the fraischer rose. The colors don't seem as rich and luxurious.

For 20 yrs been using Lancôme and I highly recommend it. This particular purchase was for my daughter to use for homecoming, and I she work the hypnose palette along with the idole mascara, twist-n-use eyeliner, foundation, finishing powder. She looked elegant and classy. People commented on it all night!

I was so disappointed when I received my eyeshadow out of its box. Rather than returning it, I saw it was unused and undamaged, so I opted to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! The palette has gorgeous pigments that glide on smoothly and look incredible. I love it and am so glad I kept it!

This palette of color, purple tones, is perfect for adding a little or a lot of eye color to my face from day to night looks. I'm older, so I don't want to have too much eye shadow and this palette is perfect because I control the colors on my eyes. Nice to have options.

Nice shadow collection. Was looking for all matte shadows for senior eyes, but, had to go with this one that had less glitter than the rest. Would like to see a cool greys/taupe set (lavender/mushroom/taupe) with less pink for hazel green eyes and light skin.

Hands down, this is the best product. Pigment is outstanding. Lasts all day. Beautiful colors that blend so amazingly together. My go-to brand and selection. I try the others, but nothing ever compares to the quality and look of the Lancome Hypnose palette.

I LOVE this color. It's my absolutely favorite "go-to," and it can be dressed up for a night on the town, or worn as an everyday shadow by itself. Lancome eyeshadows stay on ALL DAY without primer. I HIGHLY recommend it! (And they last a LONG time!!)
