Aside from the size being misleading (actually 18 H x 16 Wide for 4.5 sq ft coverage) it is a good product. I have never installed this type of product before but it has gone rather smooth, I have become somewhat of a handy man around the house so it wasn't really a big deal to me (I am finishing off the inside of a metal building with drywall, 2x4 framing, installed spiral stairs, installed flooring etc).\n\nThe fun part, I tore off the rotting siding and trim... Then ripped out the old windows, installed plywood with 2 1/2" screws over foam board/into 2x4 studs, installed house wrap (I used roofing nail gun as stapler was to weak) and cut holes/installed windows... Then begun the install of the panels. I lined up the first one to slightly overhang the plywood then used a level to be sure it was straight before installing screws (you need to use level on the whole lower row but after that it isn't needed). I am paranoid so I went excessive on screws (if I remember right each panel calls for 4 or 5 screws for standard install and more for high winds. I installed around 7-8 per panel installing an extra screw right where the lower left corner of 2nd panel hooks in to combat where some panels had small gaps between the 1st panels right lower corner and 2nd panels lower left stone.\n\nI decided not to buy the corner pieces they sell to go with these panels... I bought plastic 1x4 trim so it wouldn't rot and plan to lay it over the top of the stone on the ends and fill holes with sealant. I cut/butted the panels up to the window frames and plan to use clear sealant around them.\n\nOverall I am happy with the look so far (still finishing up/need to paint foundation grey).\n\na minor con is the lower left corners sometimes pop out a little/don't sit completely against the other piece (you don't notice when looking straight on but off to the side from 5-10 feet you can see it if looking for flaws). over all most people probably wouldn't notice. I used the grey weather proof screws to install and they blend in alright if you need to install a couple in a viewable spot (for instance on mine you can see some around windows... I am considering using some of the stone paint to make them blend even better but they are probably fine the way they are for most. On the bottom row I also installed screws (I put them under the stone to where they are not easily visible)\n\nIf you are thinking about doing this it really is a good investment, sure it isn't the cheapest "siding" on the market but it will definitely help your house to stand out... The wall that I pictured below took about 45 panels (5 cases of 10 would be needed to cover it if bought alone) My wall is about 5.33 panels high and 30' wide (10 panels wide). If I were only doing this wall I would have 10 panels left that are top halves and about 12 inches high. as it stands 12 inches is a perfect height for over my 2 garage doors.\n\nTo do the wall pictured and around my two garage doors I am spending around $3000 to do it myself.\n\nHappy building...
